it wont work until wake on LAN feature is enabled on that computer
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteWake-on-LAN (WOL) is an Ethernet computer networking standard that allows a computer to be turned on or awakened by a network message.
But in this case (remote shutdown) below Additional considerations are to be taken:
1. The Remote Registry service must be enabled on the remote computer for Shutdown Event Tracker to record information.

2. To shut down or restart a remote computer, the Remote Administration and Windows Management Instrumentation firewall exceptions must be enabled on the remote computer.
Thanks!
